Over the years, there have been many classic designs for wine bottles. Research shows that wine bottle labels have a more modernized style design. Following that approach the designs of these bottles are modernized by creating a Sci-Fi theme. I combined the gods of Olympus and came up with the idea of creating wine labels that are designed after the different Greek Gods. The final design is a Star Wars theme that includes the Greek Gods of Olympus.
The idea is called the big three, for the brothers Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. Their powers are illustrated and reflected on the labels. The character Baby Yoda is called Baby Zeus and is depicted redirecting lightning, with the colors navy blue, light blue, white, gold, and silver. The character Jedi Master Kit Fisto is called Jedi Poseidon and is depicted holding a lightsaber trident, with the colors green, turquoise, white, and brown. Darth Maul is called Darth Hades and is depicted force holding fire rocks, with the colors red, yellow, and black. The main typeface is similar to the Star Wars title font, but the name of the flavor of wine is in a cursive typeface to make it stand out to the buyer. Each wine bottle is fog painted and has glow sticks inside, making the bottles light up like light sabers.
The package itself matches the concept of the bottles. The design is inspired by the Baby Yoda cradle in the Mandalorian television series. The cradle itself is made of paper mache and painted gold to look like it is for a god. Symbols were then painted all around the package, with many meant to signify the Greek gods. But the one on the front is a combination of the Jedi symbol and Poseidon’s trident, with the title on the front rim. On the back was a description of the wine and an illustration of Olympus. Around the whole package were words in Star Wars type to connect it with the concept.
